Endpoint Registrations

I have a call monitoring application that I would like to use to get endpoint registration events when an endpoint registers to an extension. The AES we are using was recently upgraded to 6.3.1 to provide this ability. However when I query the API capabilities of the AES the registration/unregistration events are not supported. Are there some configuration changes I need to make in order to enable this functionality?
