We have had an IP500 phone system installed recently and use the outlook one-x plugin to be able to dial directly from our contacts in outlook. The issue is that it doesn't seem to understand country codes like +41.
We are an international country with clients all over the world and regularly travel to see them. We could of course amend all of our contacts so that their phone numbers are shown as 0041 (or whatever) instead of +41 but this then causes issues when dialing in North America (where they don't use 00 instead of +)
So as all our contacts are synchronised across all our devices (including our phones) and some of our people have upwards of 2000 contacts, you can see our issue with having to edit all the contacts….
It seems so odd that a modern phone system doesn't seem be able to understand international dialing codes?
Any information as to whther there is a fix, or a reccomended way round this issue would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike
