I recently updated voice mail pro 4 working on windows server to voicemail pro 9 on a linux server.
For some reason the technician was not able to replace the folders accounts to the new system. (but was able to copy the folders names, greetings and WAVS)
The new system came up live and start receiving new messages.
Nos the customer wants the old messages back.
I can see all the files in each folder under accounts, I copied them no the new system but they dont show up on the display at phones.
Also I see that the old system has for each folder under accounts: GRTGANTN.txt - INTUITY.txt - LATIME.txt - MSGNUM.txt and STATUS.txt
I opened STATUS.txt and this is the place where is sync wav messages to the account.
this is an example of the content on STATUS.txt
da11bccf,+O,N,N,MSG00235,{90126F79-CB3D-49A2-A48C-9462B681F6C5}
As I can understand this file has 6 information separated by ,
1: da11bccf - no idea what is that
2: +O - this must be old message????
3: N - no idea
4: N - no idea
5: MSG00235 - number of messages for this account???
6: {90126F79-CB3D-49A2-A48C-9462B681F6C5} - this is the wav file that is also in the folder. (the real message)
For the new system (linux) I can see that there is no txt files. just the wav files. So somewhere else must be done the sync bu I couldnt yet figure it out.
Any idea how to move the old messages from windows to under linux accounts folder?
I already moved some from the old system to the new one and gave full permissions 777 but still cannot see on the phone display.
