Looking to upgrade our IP Office Server Edition version 9.1.9 to R10. We have done the migration tool and have gone through the process of getting the PLDS .xml files for R10.
I have added PLDS files in the past on version 9.1.x and it always shows up in manager after you re-log into the manager software. When I uploaded these files it said the file was successful however i do not see any PLDS licenses in manager. I had read somewhere that it will not show the PLDS licenses until an upgrade to R10 is successful. Is this True?
I also read that to downgrade the system from R10 you need to start over and reinstall 9.1 from scratch and import your backup files. I do not want to find out the hard way that there is something wrong with my license files and have to reinstall the 9.1.9 software.
Also i have read that the host ID's on the servers should be the MAC addresses of the primary/secondary servers and IP 500 V2 Expansion. Is this true or should it be the "PLDS Host ID" found in the licenses tab in manager software.

Later in the file it states
<Name>VALUE_IPO_EDITION_SERVER_M</Name>
<DisplayName>Server Edition R9.1</DisplayName>

Just want to make sure that when i upgrade to R10 i am not left with a unlicensed phone system
