    ip telephone acoustic echo problem

    I have avaya ip office 500 v1 release 5 with digital and ip extension.
    the digital phones are working fine for both internal and external call.
    the ip phones are working fine in internal call but there is high echo in external call when using speakerphone.
    I think it is due to the acoustic echo between the microphone and speaker phone.

    can anyone help me to solve this problem?

    the ip phones are 1608 and 5621
