Multiple CM's using one CMM

A customer has a question about CMM that I can not find any documentation on. He is wondering if it is possible to have 2 different CM systems using the CMM that is in one of the systems. So both CM's would be sharing the one CMM. Does anyone know if this is possible?

I think it's not possible. because you have to create a switch link in CMM for that CM. so, in CMM only one CM ip address can be added.
Else u have to go to session manager which helps 2 cm to route to messaging server
