Hello people,
another newbie (i'm sure some of you guessed it already from the title). I need your help with a tiny issue. I support a contact center for a large organisation that deploys Avaya solutions. We have a CM 5.2.1, s8730 server and the g450 and g650 media gateways where we have other media modules.
At the time I arrived, there was already an announcement assigned to the type 'music' but now we want to have that replaced.
I have to assign a newly created announcement, the 'integ-mus' annc type if I am to change the 'music' announcement i.e 'cha sys-parameters features - music/ext..xxxx'
Trouble is that any announcement I upload with the integ-mus annc type does not play when I call the ext number but instead it gives me a busy tone.
However, if I change the annc type to 'integrated', it works..
so it is not the format of the wav file in case anyone was wondering (I have them all in ccitt alaw)
We have two VAL med boards at the moment that house our FTPs..
Also, I have read some other threads and I notice that the commands, display/change 'music sources' are usually suggested but there are no such commands on our system i.e. music sources will generate an 'invalid entry' response.
Also no tenanting functions..
For those familiar with my kind of setup, I would love to know how to replace the music on hold file.
Thanks.
