As per 1XP release notes (http://support.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100072122), IE8 is not included in supported web Browser. The supported web browsers are Mozilla Firefox 2.0, 3.0 and IE 6.0 and 7.0

          Anyone resolved this ?

I have the same issue, 1xp 7.0.14.53 resides on a windows 2008 server, if i launch ie8 directly from the server no problems, if i launch from a workstation with IE8 i keep getting the message "Please close the browser or wait for a connection to be made to the server"
every few minutes, the firewall is off on the server machine...
          tried chrome same problem though...

Also when i try through https and port 8443 everything works fine... weird...
