    Avaya C363T cajun switch

    I've got an Avaya Cajun Switch C363T that's out of maintenance;
    the cooling fans are starting to fail and I'd like to replace them.
    Does anyone know where I can get the fans for one of these units?

    Thanks,
    Brad

    Pretty Surprising. I have also recently encountered with a Cajun Switch models (P330,C363,P130). But no idea about these switches. it looks like the model is end of Manufacturer support in 2009.

    If you still wanted to try something out on the switch, this Quick Start Guide may help you to begin.

      Solution

      The only solution to the problem is to replace the entire unit as the fan is not an Field Replaceable Unit (FRU).
      This issue can be resolved by cleaning the fan or replacing the Cajun 364T.
      1. Replace the Cajun
      2. Clean the other fans

      Follow the steps given below to resolve the issue.
      >>> Power down the unit by unplugging the Alternating Current (AC) cord.
      >>> Remove all port connections.
      >>> Physically replace the unit.
      >>> Reinsert all port connections.
      >>> Reinsert the AC power cord.

      Alternatively you can
      >>> You can buy support contract if the maintenance contract is finished.
      >>> I suggest you to keep in touch with your CSM/BO for help in this regard.
