Abnormal Termination Alarm in IPO 9.0.3 Server

Hi All,

I am getting the below error with a reboot of ipoffice service in IPO 9.0.3 Primary Server.

S-Edition Primary 9.0.3.16 build 2 <Segmentation violation> CRIT RAISED addr=00000000 d=-2 pc=00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 00000000 35da23a3

There are no issues with Secondary server.

Any known solution for this? Thanks in advance.

I'm not sure about the version but I had a similar issue in Server Edition 9.0 caused by an issue I the MediaServer package. I got a new one from Avaya support.

Had similar issue and found a caveat saying fixed in 9.0.6.0. Damned if I can find it now but my advice is upgrade.

Check the SSA, resources, VCM channels or possible problems ambiguity.

Too, you must run tracert with SysMon for the to check whats is the possibles causes in a next event of reboot.

I really appreciate the help provided by them, as my situation is very difficult now to wait till next reboot for collecting the logs. The customer has intimated to their IT team to replace the system if further any reboot occurred.
Hope you understand my situation.

Hence i am planning to the latest service pack 9.0.7 upgrade, pls help me if there are known issues/bugs in that pack.

I don't know of issues. 9.0.5 and 9.0.6 were buggy but 9.0.7 has a huge list of resolved issues.

have done the upgrade of the system from 9.0.3 to 9.0.7, last week.

Still monitoring the system, will update you if any issues identified in this release.

We upgraded firmware version from 9.0.3 to 9.0.12, V1 control unit, but still abnormal termination is there.: confused:
