Default Tunnel sound from 9611g phones

Has anyone experienced a 'tunnel' sound on calls with 9611G IP phones? We had a echo sound in background of calls on 4600 series and the steps we had for that series do not work on the newer phones we are getting, the 9611G. If anyone had this issue how did you resolve it. We will be deploying these phones shortly starting about the week of 12-10-12. We have a few deployed now and this is their issue on a few phones, not all. For 4600 series we did the following: Hit mute key, 242 (AGC) keys, # key, Answer all screens to follow to: OFF, then 'SAVE'; however, this does not do anything on the 9600 series phones. Open for resolution if anyone had this issue. Thank you, Veronica
