Configure a "goto-cover" Button
My understanding of your question: You have an inbound call that you wish to send to voice mail on another station.
First, you need to prep your phone to do this by setting up a goto-cover button on your phone. Once this is done, you can handle inbound calls as follows: - Place the caller on hold using the transfer button. This gives you dial tone.
- Dial the extension of the receiving station.
- Immediately press the goto-cover button.
- Press the transfer button agian to complete the transfer.
