I like your thinking Kenneth. I have never asked for a written policy on this. Here, there has not been a need for it. That is, our outward facing staff all have very good greetings.

However many of our agents have not bothered. I am working through this by moving our member service agents to non-DID (direct inward dial) extensions. They are the "usual suspects" in this regard. I have asked for and received the okay to do this based on the need to conserve our DID numbers. That way I'm not throwing anyone "under the bus." and my boss stays happy.
