    LDAP in OneX Communicator 5.2

Okay, so I've set up my OneX Communicator to point to my Novell LDAP directory. I set the correct search root (o=lsb). My problem is, I want to set my search field to Last Name(sn) and the symptoms I'm experiencing suggest the query is using the Display Name (cn). Am I able to adjust this in OneX Comm. or is this something my LDAP administrator has to set for me? I can change the LDAP search field in the properties window in my email client. Am I overlooking something obvious?

    Thanks in advance.

Search via last name in One X communicator

Checked the details you provided for the Settings you have mentioned below. The settings are fine.As per your need to have the search be done using the last name, it can be done as shown below :

    1) Get logged into the OneX communicator.
    2) Go to Search Results in the Contacts in the display screen.Select the entries you need to be displayed. For example Personal.
    3) Simultaneosuly you have a small tab "SORT" which has the option of last name and first name. Select last Name and now do a search. It works fine have tried it.

Please go through the steps and you would be able to sort the contacts via last name.

Thanks for the reply. Your solution works beautifully for one LDAP directory I have access to. Unfortunately, it doesn't work for my primary. I'm assuming it's an LDAP problem and have scheduled meetings accordingly. Nothing in our environment is ever simple.
