    Complete Documentation

Looking to download a complete zip of all documents for a product. On the old website, we had this option. For instance, I could download all the files for CS1000 and then we were able to search with the documents. Currently we are only supplied with a list and then are not even able to search among those documents. It has made troubleshooting and finding info much more time consuming than it was just a few months ago.

We should be able to put in a search phrase and be shown all the documents that pertain to it, whether it be installation, administration or troubleshooting.

I apologize if this is still available, but I have not been able to find the complete collections or seach within the existing collections.

    Hello cail1,

We are working on zip file collections at th moment - these should be available again very shortly.

For product documentation and support, have you tried the product support pages? From the main site, you would click on the Products link in the top navigation menu. From that page, you'll enter in your product (cs1000, for example). During your session, your products will be saved. Also, on your Dashboard, when you log into the support site, you can also add cs1000 as a favorite product. Once on the product support page (https://support.avaya.com/products/P0714/communication-server-1000e/7.5.x?aka=cs1000) you'll note that you can toggle between releases and see all top documentation and solutions for that product.

Let us know if that helps.

    Thanks!

When I click on the link in your reply above, this is what I get: Due to the presence of characters known to be used in Cross Site Scripting attacks, access is forbidden. This web site does not allow Urls which might include embedded HTML tags.

        Hi hicks10:

You can follow the steps to navigate the site that Susan provides above or click this link: https://support.avaya.com/products/P...5.x?aka=cs1000

(The reason why you got the cross-scripting error is because the hyperlink is adding part of the sentence in Susan's post to the URL address: i.e., the subsequent parentheses and "You'll." Sorry about that.)

I also saw that you posted on multiple threads about having a difficult time on the website. We want to make this experience better for you. If you can send me your contact information via email to [email protected], I would be happy to reach out to you personally and see how I can help. Please address the email care of me.

        Thanks!

          srector,

Can you please quantify, "shortly", it's been 10 days since your response below.
Also, please advise that the PDX file will be included in the zip file, as before.

            Hi,

The issue with zip files seems to be specific to Internet Explorer (IE) -- this particular browser will not decompress if the Content Types is a zip file. The temporary workaround is to access zip files via another browser such as Chrome, Firefox
            , etc.

Our IT department is currently working on evaluating and coding the necessary rewrite rules on all our download servers to address this IE-specific issue.

We ask for your patience but I'm sure you can understand our desire to do it right, rather than just right away. (-:
