Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers
If you set the Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers field on the SIP Signaling Group screen to y and if Communication Manager uses the public-unknown-numbering table, Communication Manager inserts a leading plus (+) digit in calling, alerting, diverting, or connected numbers. The default value is n.
If the Peer Server field on the SIP Signaling Group screen is SM, the system sets the Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers field to display-only, with the default value of y. If the Peer Server field on the SIP Signaling Group screen is Others, the system sets the Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers field to n and as editable.
“Prepend '+' to Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Number? N”.
SIP Signaling Group screen to N:
“Prepend '+' to Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Number? N”
Trunk Group SIP, if use “Numbering Format: public”, change from "public" to "private".
Page- display public-unknown-numbering ....Note: If an entry applies to a SIP connection to Avaya Aura(R) Session Manager, the resulting number must be a complete E.164 number.
Communication Manager automatically inserts a '+'digit in this case.
5 years later and now I need to do this. Can someone advise how it was done? Basically I have configured one-x communicator to connect to the GAL on outlook but all the numbers are in the e.164 format with the + so users cannot just click the number and dial they have to remove the + manually. From the above it seems possible but not sure how.
