Avaya IP Office v.11 in multi domain forest in Microsoft AD environment

Hi, can't find this answer so asking if you attempted to configure IP Office in such environment.
Question: will IP Office be able to search AD for users across multiple domains if the AD controller will also host a global catalogue?
I understand IP Office can connect to a single domain controller only but theoretically searching for a contact in LDAP directory should be possible if DC is also hosting the global catalogue.

    Example: cn=user1, dc=domain1, dc=com or cn=user2, dc=domain2, dc=com both domain1.com and domain2.com are in the same AD forest.

    Thank you
    Marcin

Hi, for clarification - I do not want to connect IPO to multiple DC only search AD Global Catalog for users in multiple domains in the same AD forest.

      Thanks
      Marcin
