    Avaya SBCE Portwell CAD-0230

    All,

    I have a brand new Portwell that has just arrived. Attempting to get it configured through the Console, but the configuration menu never lists, and it goes straight to login prompt as if it has already been deployed. Login like ipcs/ipcs does not work or the like.

    It came installed with 7.2, I have reinstalled with USB key both 7.2. FP1, and 7.2, the install goes succesfully, and without issue, but on reboot the configuration options never showup, and it goes straight to the login prompt.

    I have never experienced this with these appliances before, and a bit frustrated that a brand new device, not yet deployed is not letting me configure it.

    I've seen to discover the issue, apparently on fresh installs on Portwell have switched to a login to configure,


    If the serial mode is used for installation, instead of the configuration menu, the user will get a login prompt after first system boot. Use following credentials to log in: •
    Username : root
    Password : Avaya_123


    Avaya should likely put this on their change log :/
