    call history

    Hello,

    i'm new user of the avaya phone system IP500 v2. i started a monitor service that will generate daily log file. So my question is how can i dissect this log file so i could pull a history a of calls in or out on a specific extension. note that we do not have any ip phone

    In the trace options, on the Call tab select Call Details Records.

    However, I don't know how to get the records for just one extension, instead it will show records for all calls.

    But using System Monitor for that is the wrong tool, its meant for system diagnostics and is overly complex for just call logging. The IP Office system can be configured to output the same call records directly to the IP address where you run some call logging software. If you don't have a call logger, you can use applications such as Kiwi Syslog to collect the call records instead.
