There is a field on the trunk group form (page 4) that might help you!
display trunk-group xxx Page 4 of 21 PROTOCOL VARIATIONS Mark Users as Phone? n Prepend '+' to Calling Number? n <=========== Please take a look at the below for more information Avaya Aura® Communication Manager Screen Reference Release 6.3 03-602878 Issue 5 October 2013 Page 815 https://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100171650 Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers If you set the Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers field on the SIP Signaling Group screen to y and if Communication Manager uses the public-unknown-numbering table, Communication Manager inserts a leading plus (+) digit in calling, alerting, diverting, or connected numbers. The default value is n. If the Peer Server field on the SIP Signaling Group screen is SM, the system sets the Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers field to display-only, with the default value of y. If the Peer Server field on the SIP Signaling Group screen is Others, the system sets the Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers field to n and as editable. Hi All,
5 years later and now I need to do this. Can someone advise how it was done? Basically I have configured one-x communicator to connect to the GAL on outlook but all the numbers are in the e.164 format with the + so users cannot just click the number and dial they have to remove the + manually. From the above it seems possible but not sure how. |

This can be done with a signal group that has Peer detection disabled, Peer server set to Others.
This will let you set the "Prepend '+' to Outgoing..." value to N. Peer Detection Enabled? n Peer Server: Others Clustered? n Prepend '+' to Outgoing Calling/Alerting/Diverting/Connected Public Numbers? n |
