    Transfer a call on Partner ACS

    I have a Partner ACS R8 with Messaging system.
    when a call is transferred from extension to extension. It just bounces back after a few rings and doesn’t go in to voicemail. Please have me to fix it. Thanks

    Assign Automatic VMS Coverage to the extensions with mailboxes

    At Ext 10, press Feature and dial 00
    Press the left hand Intercom button twice

    Dial #310-(extension number), then press 1 to change the 2nd line of the display from 2-Not Assigned to 1-Assigned
    Repeat for each extension

    Press Feature and dial 00 to quit

      Sounds like you need voicemail coverage for that extension.

      you will need to get into programming, and go into Auto VMS cover (#310). scroll through your extensions, until you get to the extension in question, then press the "1" button and the display should say, "1-Assigned"

      Feature 00 to get out of programming.
