We get about 2-3 of these per day - our 9608 handsets will lock up and not allow the user to hit the voicemail key, the missed call key or the phone book. We have about 250 of them in total.
After a reboot or a re-program they come back, but it's annoying. Our vendor has a ticket in w Avaya and apparently they're not sure either. We're on the latest build of v 10 and they want to move us to v11 to get this fixed but I am so curious why this happens randomly. Any suggestions? |

Also - the phone will function normally as far as making and receiving calls while the "buttons are frozen".

Are the phones SIP or H.323? What firmware version?

is this CM or IP Office?
On CM something like this happens when you leave on hook dialing to "N" Not sure if this helps..... |
