Folks
As you know, Aura 8 has deprecated the HP DL360 G7 server and the applications will always fail installation stating so. I, we, need to be able to continue to use these servers for developement applications. Too much money invested to simply trash the G7 servers. Is there any way to get past the hardware check during application installations? Maybe add a warning and allow a bypass when using SDM? Help please. Thank you very much Last edited by wallo; 12-18-2019 at 04:18 AM. |

I would reimage with ESXi instead of AVP to eliminate the need for SDM and all its restrictions.

Install/copy from a supported server, then copy the VM (DIR) from the datastore
/vmfs/volumes/server-local-disk/ Source Machine = cd /vmfs/volumes/server-local-disk/ scp -rv VMFOLDER admin@x.x.x.x:/vmfs/volumes/server-local-disk/ Make sure to have port 22 open on both Source and Destination. Networking/Firewall. You can check from command line using : nc -vzw 2 x.x.x.x 22 register vm and when you start it click on 'I COPIED IT' David |
