Default call history log


i'm new user of the avaya phone system IP500 v2. i started a monitor service that will generate daily log file. So my question is how can i dissect this log file so i could pull a history a of calls in or out on a specific extension, any third party software is needed. be advised that we do not have any ip phone

Hi - system monitor is really an application for diagnosis and trouble shooting rather than a call logger. It would be quite difficult for an individual to be able to collate this information from the raw messaging from IP Office. With that said, you could possibly do this manually if you were to search for the call delta messages, as these are outputted when a call has ended?

May i suggest that you look at the SMDR / CDR features instead? You can output the call information to a server. This will provide you the information that you would need and more. It would be much easier and simpler than trying to decode the sysmon messages.
