We have a user who is able to call forward their extension number to a number outside of the PBX. This works, however, it is to a cell phone number and for some reason the office voicemail still picks up if they don't answer it. Why would this happen?

Depending on your system this will be twinning on a ipoffice or ec500 on ACM.
the voicemail timer answer time (IPO) or cover path(CM) will need adjusting to ring longer than the cell phone voicemail timer. |
