Default Can't change text on a 9608 phone

Hello,

I have a user who has a 9608 phone with 2 side cradles. The text for some reason has change to a larger fatter text which is blurry.

I tried to change it but when I go into Options & Settings > Screen & Sound Options , Text Size isn't in the list of options. How do I add it or change it.

thanks.
Gary

You might want to look at this -

http://downloads.avaya.com/css/P8/documents/100176078

Search for "Setting a larger display font size"

It's not on the phone, it's in the 46xxsettings file.

And where would you find that?

The manual only indicated to go to the phone menu to find it.

when I look at the 46xxsettings file, there is no spot for that option.

I can see all the settings on the phone except the Text one.

Found the directory on the SD card but that file doesn't exist.

If I change only one of the settings, will the phone boot up or do I need to make sure I put in the DHCP etc in it as well.

Large font option on the phone can be shown if phone screen width is set "full".

You can enable large font feature by putting "SET LANGLARGEFONT mlf_96x1_v176_english_large.txt" in the setting file, reboot the phone to have it read the file, change the sreen width to full from screen&sound option, exit the option and return to the screen&sound option again. You should be able to see "Text Size" then change the font size.
