    Can't communicate inter-VLANS (4524GT)

    Hi,
    on a 4524GT switche I've configure 2 VLANS:
    vlan1 (pid = 1) ports 1 (trunk) to 20 untag all (ip adress 192.168.0.115, 255.255.255.0)
    vlan2 (pid = 2) ports 1, 21 to 24 untag all (ip adress 192.168.142.50, 255.255.255.0).

    ip routing is enable.
    PC1 (192.168.0.108) is connected to port1,
    PC2 (192.168.142.51) is connected to port 23.

    PC1 can't ping PC2 and PC2 can't ping PC1.
    What's wrong ?

    Thank's.
    Regards.
    Fred.

    1st problem RESOLVED:

Sorry, it was a bad gateway on PC1.
In fact, the switche is in test on our local network.
PC1 got an IP adress by our dhcp server, with 192.168.0.74 gateway (zywall).
So when I wanted to ping 192.168.142.50 or .51, it went on the internet.
I changed the gateway to 192.168.0.115 (vlan1 swtiche ip), and now PC1 and PC2 can ping each others.

But, PC2 can't ping to the outside, so what is missing ?
    Thank's.

    Fred.

Do I have to add a route on the internet gateway (Zywall usg300) like 192.168.142.0 255.255.255.0 192.168.0.115 ?

        RESOLVED:

after adding a route in the internet gateway, the PC2 on VLAN2 can connect to the outside.

        Regards.
