Voice Portal / Dialog Designer - no recording, when barge-in-type changed to hotword

    Hi,

in an Dialog Designer Application, we changed the barge-in-type from "speech" to "hotword".

Before that, in the "Call Details" we could download the wave-Files, in which was recorded, what the customer was saying.

After changing, there is no link to the recording anymore. In the Application Parameters is set up that "Speech and Data" will be recorded.

    Hope, you can help.

    Hi Branko,

It is working as designed. When hotword is used, the system will not store the callers speech.
The system is designed to not save the speech because when hotword is enabled the application is listening the entire time the application is running. So it would be storing speech data from the moment the call begins until it ends, no matter if the caller is speaking or not. This would quickly use up the MPP resources, and would create wav files so large it would fill the disk.

    Regards,
