We have IPO R9.0 Server Edition and are now deploying 150 DECT phones. It is expected there will be more than 100 simultaneous IP DECT calls during peak hr.
Is the 100 simultaneous IP DECT calls limit same in R9.1? What will happen to the 101 calls? Not getting in or calling out? |

I would say that your cell design is important to support the 100 calls. As the base stations will handle 8 simultaneous voice channels. Check that you will have sufficient base stations covering each area for the number of expected simultaneous users in that area.
I did check the IP DECT R4 section in the knowledge base and I did't see any limitation on the IP Line (H.323 Trunk) between the DECT and IP Office. |

As usual, if not mentioned specific in the upgrade docs then there is no change.
So the max number of calls remain 100 depending on the number of free VCM channels available. If all channels are occupied then new calls will be presented busy tone. The change that all channels are busy with 150 IP Dect Phones is minimum, especially if "direct media path" is enabled. |

The 150 DECT phones are distributed in 60 remote retail stores, e.g. 2~4 in each remote site. Peak hour is about the same across all stores.
It is a 9.1 Server Edition, any idea what is the limitation in VCM? |

I am not familiar with Server Edition but these do not need a VCM card but I don't know the max number of VCM channels available.
