BSM is part of the Embedded Survivable Remote CM6 template for the S8300D and has been out for years.

We have 2 SBCs in different locations handling our SIP Trunks and are being told that in this configuration it is in controlled release only. Please advise.

You talking about an SBC-E trunked to a BSM?
BSM is to SM as an LSP is to CM. It's a survivable server on an S8300D that goes active until a network disruption disconnects the branch from the main. At one point, the BSM could only handle SIP registrations from local phones but I think it's been expanded to support trunking though I've never used it. BSMs are buggy and often lose sync with System Mgr. |
