General Information, and Programming Overlays
  • The Partner MLS phones come in two colors, Black or White
  • The new Partner phones come in three colors, Black, White or Gray
  • The Partner Endeavor phones only come in Black
To identify the extension number of a phone, plug a display phone into the jack and press Feature 00. The extension number will appear in the display. Press Feature 00 to exit programming.
 
This technical tip gives general information and Programming Overlays for Partner phones.
 
System Phone Limitations
All Partner system phones will work on any Partner system. Some of the phones have certain limitations of functionality.
  • MLC-6 - No limitations
  • MLS-6 - No limitations
  • Partner -6 - No limitations
  • Partner Endeavor-6 - No limitations
  • MLS-12 - No limitations

Note:The phone will work on the system, but you will have problems programming some of the buttons. Example: The MLS-18D will work on the Partner II R1, but you cannot program features that require lighted buttons on the top row or the right 2 buttons on the second row. The set will act as an MLS-12D. The display will not work, but the rest of the phone will. The 2 x 16 display will not show all info from caller ID, and the Caller ID Log.
