About the R2MFC digital protocol feature

R2MFC is a signalling protocol that operates on E1 connections and is used internationally between switches. R2MFC is an ITU-T Q400 series standard. Avaya IR supports the digital version of line signals and inter-register signals. R2 signaling from switch to switch supports the following MFC call types.

At least one digital telephony card must be installed and operational.

Software requirements

The R2MFC signalling feature requires the NMS package (Avnms) software.
