Two VoIP channels with one signaling group

In this example, two VoIP channels are used, and they are assigned to one signaling group. Configuration for the H.323 trunk on the IR system is shown on the following screen. As in the previous example, default entries for the unused signaling groups and ports are left in place. The number of RTUs for this configuration is three. Because the total number of maximum channels configured is less than the RTUs for the configuration, the VoIP subsystem will allow only two simultaneous calls. However, the Web Administration interface and the display card command will show three VoIP channels in the INSERV state. To avoid such problems, follow the rules for H.323 trunk configuration as explained in Port count parameters.

4-1 config

On the switch, one matching signaling group has 31 ports. Because the number of maximum channels in the IR system configuration is less than the number of corresponding ports in the switch configuration, you must set the PBX Trunk Hunt field to ascend on the Trunk Group form.
