If the Communication Manager server has a hard disk failure, you must replace the Communication Manager server, which is shipped with a new hard drive. The hard drive will
have Communication Manager server and IA 770 INTUITY AUDIX software already loaded on it. However,
you may need to update the software as part of the recovery process.
- Get the new Communication Manager server.
You will have to order this piece of equipment using normal ordering
procedures for your organization.
- Get the latest Communication Manager server software CD-ROM and IA 770 INTUITY
AUDIX Languages CD-ROM, if necessary.
The most recent Communication Manager server software CD-ROM also contains the most recent
Communication Manager and IA 770 INTUITY AUDIX software. Get this CD-ROM from
your project manager or services organization. In addition, you may
need the IA 770 INTUITY AUDIX Languages CD-ROM, if the languages are
not available on the Communication Manager server CD-ROM.
- Load and Install the
Most Recent Communication Manager server and Communication Manager Software and Complete the Communication Manager server/Media Gateway
Installation
The most recent Communication Manager server software (the .tar file) includes the most
recent IA 770 INTUITY AUDIX software. However, you must separately
install IA 770 INTUITY AUDIX after the software is uploaded to the
Communication Manager server FTP directory.
| Note: Be sure to make the upgrade permanent at the completion
of the installation of Communication Manager server software. |

Upload Additional Announcement Sets
- Install the IA 770 INTUITY AUDIX software
- Restore Data

and system files, and security files, as well as the INTUITY AUDIX
