When you add a CNA server to a hive, the server’s embedded agent software automatically registers with the server and requires no manual configuration. Like any other type of CNA agent, the CNA server’s embedded CNA agent can be assigned to any zone in your zone hierarchy. Agents that are embedded in CNA servers are useful for measuring network performance between network operations centers or similar hubs where CNA servers are usually placed.
