Alarm destinations
Alarms are sent to the destinations that you configure. To configure alarm destinations:
- First, you define all destinations that CNA can use for alarm notifications. You can define:
- Four e-mail addresses
- Four Syslog servers
- Four hosts to receive SNMP traps and informs.
For information on how to define alarm destinations, see Defining alarm destinations.
- Once you have defined the alarm destinations, you create alarm templates and assign them specific alarm destinations (one or more of those defined in Step 1), as well as alarm threshold values, and other alarm settings.
- Lastly, you assign a template to specific zones or edges. For information on how to configure alarm templates and assign them to specific zones or edges, see Alarm templates.
