Procedure
To define alarm destinations for an alarm template:
Access Chatter Alarm Configuration command mode. To access this mode, enter the following commands:

enable
(Privileged mode)
b.
configure terminal
(Configuration mode)
c.
module chatter
(Chatter Configuration mode)
d.
alarm name
<name>
(Chatter Alarm Configuration command mode)
Use the commands in
Table 10
to define alarm destinations for the template.

Command
Purpose
smtp to (Chatter module only)
Specifies the e-mail addresses to which alarm notifications for this alarm template are sent.
snmp host
Specifies the hosts to which SNMP traps for this alarm template are sent.
logging host
Specifies the Syslog servers to which Syslog messages for this alarm template are sent.
