Administer arena parameters 

Overview

The Arena Parameters Administration Web page allows you to administer specific parameters for the message arena.

Access to arena parameter administration

To access the Web page that allows parameter administration for the message arena, do the following:

  1. From the main administration Web page (http://{icm_server_name}/icmadmin ), click on the Administer Parameters for Message Care link.

    A framed interface appears.

  2. From the left frame, click on the Arena Parameters link located under the MsgCare arena.

    The Message Care Administration (MsgCare) Web page appears in the right frame.

Parameter description for arenas

You can administer the following parameters for each arena:

Parameter Description
Enable Agent Logout Button?

This field enables you to enable or disable the Logout button on the Agent Control Window. The default is Yes (enabled).

Enable Agent Logout On Close?

This field enables you to turn off or turn on the automatic agent logout from the contact center if the agent connection to the ICM application on the ICM server is lost or dropped.

Phantom Extensions for Message Care

This field contains the list of extensions or hunt groups used for the messaging software. These must be extensions of stations administered without hardware (AWOH).

Virtual Conference Password

This field contains the privileged password which allows presenters to set up a virtual conference.
