Parameter descriptions for the system
You can administer the following parameters on the System Parameters Administration Web page:
Parameter Description ICM Server Domain Name (required field) This field must contain the full domain name or IP address of the server where the ICM application is executing. This field is populated with the ICM Server Domain Name you entered during installation.
ICM Server Internal Address This field contains the same domain name or IP address as the previous field, unless your contact center uses Network Address Translation (NAT). In that case, this field should specify the server's internal address.
Is the ICM Server using SSL? This field specifies whether the ICM server is using Secure Socket Layer (SSL). The default is No.
Callback Request Limit This field contains the maximum number of outstanding scheduled callback requests allowed at any one time in the callbacks.txt file. The callbacks.txt file contains information about callback requests (for example, callback number, callback request time, and so forth). The Internet session software uses the callbacks.txt file to process callback requests that have not expired. The callbacks.txt file is also used in case of a system failure or graceful shutdown. When the system comes back up, the callbacks.txt file is used to process any callback requests that have not expired.
Enable Phantom Extensions for Text Chat? This field allows you to specify whether phantom extensions will be used for text chat when possible. If you select Yes, you must provide administered phantom extensions in the next field.
Enable Phantom Extensions for Text Chat This field enables you to list the extensions or hunt groups used for text chat. These must be extensions of stations administered without hardware (AWOH) on the DEFINITY ECS.
Chat Transcript Directory This field contains the name of the directory in which the chat transcript files are stored. The default directory is: icm\transcripts. A value in this field is only necessary if the Enable Chat Transcript? parameter is set for an arena.
Chat Transcripts Log Size-MB This field enables you to specify the size (in MB) of the chat transcripts log files (for example, 01-Jan-00-2.txt). A value in this field is only necessary if the Enable Chat Transcript? parameter is set for an arena.
Chat Transcript Field Delimiter This field enables you to separate your chat transcript data by field so that it can easily be imported into a database for analysis and generating reports. By default, each field is separated by a comma. A value in this field is only necessary if you are going to import the chat transcript into a database.
Chat Transcript String Delimiter This field defines the character used to delimit strings in the chat transcript log so that it can easily be imported into a database. By default, the delimiter is a quotation mark. A value in this field is only necessary if you are going to import the chat transcript into a database.
