Methods for dropping Internet sessions
Voice and chat and text chat-only sessions may be dropped using one of the following methods:
Either the agent or the customer can drop the entire Internet session by clicking using the Drop Call command in the Control Window. In this case, the agent returns to the Agent Idle state.
If either the agent or the customer closes the Web browser during an Internet session, the entire session is dropped.
The agent can drop the entire Internet session by hanging up the voice terminal or by pressing the Release button (if your voice terminal is administered with a Release button).
When an Internet session is dropped with any of the above methods, a JavaScript alert dialog box will appear with the following message: Press OK to Quit.
NOTE: Although it is not recommended, if the agent or the customer closes the Control Window during an Internet session, the entire session is dropped.
