Power Up DC-Powered System

Return to Task List

  1. At the DC Battery Cabinet (if installed), set the circuit breaker to ON.

  2. At the DC Power Cabinet, set the circuit breakers on the associated rectifiers ON.

  3. This starts the system initialization and test. Some red LEDs may be on but are turned off by other procedures in this section

  4. At the rear of each Power Distribution Unit (if installed), set the circuit breaker to ON.


Note: If the system is high or critical reliability, power-up the Expansion Port Network (EPN) first, then the Processor Port Network (PPN). Always power up the control cabinet last.
