Record all links and remove only ISDN interface links [G3V4vs, R5vs, R6vs to R10si]

For R7 and later, ISDN links move to the Net Packet circuit pack. They are not retranslated. If you are upgrading
from any release earlier than R7, you remove the ISDN links and do not readminister them.
Use this procedure to identify, record, and remove the ISDN links from the communication link and communication processor forms:
- Type
display communication-interface links and press
Enter. If any links were administered on this form, note them.
- For each link where the
Prot field is
ISDN, record the information in all fields.
If you must back out of the upgrade, you will need this information.
- For each ISDN link, type
busyout link [link] and press
Enter.
- Type
change communication-interface links and press
Enter.
- For each link where the
Prot field is
ISDN, type
n in the
Enable field and press
Enter.
- Type
display communication-interface processor-channels and press
Enter.
- For each processor channel where the
Application field is
ISDN, record the information in all fields.
If you must back out of the upgrade, you will need this information.
- Type
change communication-interface processor-channels and press
Enter.
- For each processor channel where the
Application field is
ISDN, clear the information from all fields and press
Enter.
- Type
change communication-interface links and press
Enter.
- For each PI extension where the
Prot field is
ISDN make these entries:
