Power up DEFINITY AUDIX system

If the AUDIX was removed from the cabinet:

Return to Task List

  1. Re-install the AUDIX and allow it to boot up automatically.

  2. Check for AUDIX System errors.

  3. If the AUDIX remained in the cabinet but the cabinet was powered down:

  4. Reseat the AUDIX.

  5. Power up the cabinet.

  6. The AUDIX reboots automatically.

  7. Check for AUDIX System errors.

If the AUDIX remained in the cabinet

If the AUDIX remained in the cabinet, and the cabinet was not powered down:

  1. At the AUDIX console, hold the CTRL key and type cc.

  2. Type 5 at the prompt.

  3. In about 2 minutes, the AUDIX boots up.

  4. When the system initialization is complete, log in as craft.


Note: If you have a dadmin login and password, you can use them instead of craft and the craft password.

  1. Check for AUDIX System errors.
