Duplicated si systems, release 7.1 or later, must have the SPE Interchange field set correctly, or the system will sometimes generate packet alarms that will prevent ISDN from working properly.

Type change system-parameters maintenance to display the MAINTENANCE-RELATED SYSTEM PARAMETERS form and verify that the SPE Interchange field is set to daily.
