Power Up the SPE [R9r]

Return to Task List

  1. If there are two power supplies, restore power to the SPE by inserting the power plug on the right side of the carrier then by inserting the power plug on the left side of the carrier. If there is only one power supply, insert the one power plug on the right side.

  2. For high or crtical reliability systems, monitor the SPE as it reboots by observing the LEDs and the terminal. The SPE is powered up when the YELLOW LED on the Processor circuit pack blinks in a steady state, which takes about 10 minutes.

Note: The RED alarm LED on the TN1657 Disk Drive turns off because the memory mismatch no longer exists.
