DEFINITY Made Easy Tools
Issue 2, November 2000
G3rV2/3/4 and R5/6/7/8r to R9r
Check the Active Tone-Clock (High/Critical reliability only) [R9r]
- Type status port-network 1 and press Enter to verify that the Tone-Clock and the active SPE are in the same carrier.
- Verify that the Service State field shows in.
- If the Tone-Clock and active SPE are not in the same carrier, type set tone-clock [A | B] and press Enter .
This command sets the Tone-Clock to the same carrier as the active SPE.
If the active Tone-Clock has not migrated to the active carrier after 1 minute, then a Tone-Clock problem exists. Refer to the TDM-CLK Maintenance Objects section of the DEFINITY Enterprise Communications Server Release 9 Maintenance for R9r book to resolve any problems.
