TN2301
Provides service to the customer when the link to the main processor fails or is severed, or when the processor or Center Stage Switch fails. The TN2301 Survivable Remote Switch (SRS) circuit pack connects the SREPN links (fiber or T1/E1) to the appropriate PPN for call processing. It does this under control of the TN775C maintenance circuit pack which monitors the health of the expansion interface TN570B.
