Activating Alarm Suppression

To activate alarm suppression:

  1. Start at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu and select:
  2. Customer/Services Administration
    Alarm Management

    The system displays the Alarm Management Window.

  3. Move the cursor to the Alarm Suppression field and type active
  4. Press F3 (Save).
  5. The system displays the Information Window.

  6. Press ENTER.
  7. The system displays the Alarm Management Window.

Deactivating Alarm Suppression

To deactivate alarm suppression:

  1. Start at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu and select:
  2. Customer/Services Administration
    Alarm Management

    The system displays the Alarm Management Window.

  3. Move the cursor to the Alarm Suppression field and type inactive
  4. Press F3 (Save).
  5. The system displays the Information Window.

  6. Press ENTER.
  7. The system displays the Alarm Management Window.

Access to the Activity Log

To access the Activity Log using the system adminstrator's (sa) login id:


 

Note: The voice mail (vm) login id takes you directly to the Intuity AUDIX administration screen. If you are using the vm login id, go to Step 2.

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Audix Administration

    The system displays the AUDIX Command Prompt Screen.

  3. Enter display activity-log extension where extension is the 3-digit to 10-digit extension for the local subscriber.

Access to the Administrator's Log Through the Avaya Intuity System Menus

To access the Administrator's Log using the default display options:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Customer/Services Administration
    Log Administration
    Administrator's Log

    The system displays the Administrator's Log Display Selection Window.
     

    Note: The first time you use the Administrator's Log Display Selection screen, all fields are blank. Subsequent uses of this screen by the same login id (even after restarts and reboots) show the date and time the screen was last used in the Start Date: and Time: fields. All other fields are blank.

  3. Press F3 (Save).
  4. The system displays the Administrator's Log Window.

Access to the Administrator's Log Through the Intuity AUDIX Administration Screen

To access the Administrator's Log through the Intuity AUDIX Administration screen:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Audix Administration

    The system displays the AUDIX Command Prompt Screen.

  3. Enter either di ad, or display administrator's-log, in the command line.
  4. Press F3 (Save) to use the default display options.
  5. The system displays the Administrator's Log Window.

Access to the Alarm Log Through the Avaya Intuity System Menus

To access the Alarm Log through the Avaya Intuity system menus:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Customer/Services Administration
    Log Administration
    Alarm Log

    The system displays the Alarm Display Selection Window.

  3. Press F3 (Save) to display the Alarm Log using the default display options.
  4. The system displays the Alarm Log Window.

Access to the Alarm Log Through the Intuity AUDIX Administration Screen

To access the Alarm Log through the Intuity AUDIX Administration screen:

  1. Starting at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Audix Administration

    The system displays the AUDIX Command Prompt Screen.

  3. Enter display alarms
  4. Press F3 (Save) to display the Alarm Log using the default display options.
  5. The system displays the Alarm Log Window.

Access to the Alarm Management Window

To access the Alarm Management window:

  1. Start at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu, select:
  2. Customer/Services Administration

    	Alarm Management

    The system displays the Alarm Management Window.
