Description:

The system has no voice channels purchased and no fax channels enabled.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Contact your sales representative to purchase channels. If you have already purchased channels, contact your remote maintenance center.

VP CGEN020

Description:

The system has no service assigned. The system will not answer calls.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Assign service to channels.

VP CGEN023

Description:

The system is conducting default owner processing RM_DEFOWN from abrupt process exit.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP INIT002

Description:

The system cannot find a circuit card.

Repair Procedure:

Contact your remote maintenance center.

VP INIT003

Description:

The system recognized a new circuit card.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP INIT004

Description:

The system has taken administrative action to renumber channels.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP RAID003

Description:

The RAID system is rebuilding the hard disk drive indicated. The system will continue to operate.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP RAID004

Description:

The RAID system is finished rebuilding the hard disk drive indicated.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP RAID005

Description:

The rebuild was cancelled.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP RAID006

Description:

The RAID system had an error while rebuilding the hard disk drive indicated.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP RAID008

Description:

The RAID system has remapped a bad block on the hard disk drive indicated.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP TRIP005

Description:

The channel indicated in the message lost loop current. If loop current is lost during a telephone call, the call will be terminated and the system will remove the channel from service. The system will automatically return the channel to service when the loop current returns.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Make sure the line is plugged in the channel indicated and appropriate switch connections are made.
  2. Examine the line cord for damages. Replace the cord if it is damaged.
  3. Plug the line into a telephone set and make sure it works. Use the following steps to test the line:
      1. Check the telephone for dialtone. Most switches provide dialtone.
      2. Dial the number of the test telephone from another telephone. Make sure it rings and the connection is established.
      3. Dial another number from the test line. Make sure the connection is established.
      4. If these tests do not pass, consult your network or switch administrator for help.
      5. If these tests pass, plug in a known working line into the channel indicated. The system should place the channel in service automatically. If the alarm fails to resolve, contact your remote maintenance center.

VP TRIP006

Description:

The loop current has been restored.

Repair Procedure:

No corrective action is necessary.

VP VCKOANM

Description:

More than 80% of the purchased hours are being used.

Repair Procedure:
  1. Ask subscribers to delete unneeded messages.
  2. Stop the voice system.
  3. Start the voice system.
  4. If the problem still exists, purchase additional hours of speech. For more information, contact your Avaya sales representative.
