Installing the AUDIX Application Software

 

Important! If you are installing this software from a newer version of the Intuity AUDIX CD-ROM than the version that was previously used to load the system, the system may inform you of software packages that need to be updated. If you choose to allow the system to update these packages, please discard any previous Intuity AUDIX CD-ROMs. Keep only the most current Intuity AUDIX CD-ROM. If you choose not to update your software packages, keep all versions of your Intuity AUDIX CD-ROM.

To install the AUDIX application software:

1. Back-up the system.
2. Insert the Intuity AUDIX CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive.
3. Start at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu and select:

Software Management
	Software Installation
		CD

The system displays the Software Install Screen, Page 1.
 


Note: If you did not complete the backup, the system displays the Backup Warning Screen.

4. Press the DOWN ARROW key until the cursor highlights the following entry in the Applications Software Group:

[ ] APPLset 5.0 -- AUDIX(R) Application Set
 


Note: You may need to advance several screens.

5. Press ENTER.

The system displays the line in the following manner:

[X] APPLset 5.0 -- AUDIX(R) Application Set

6. If you are installing additional packages, mark the appropriate entries, by highlighting them and pressing the ENTER key, now before proceeding to the next step.
7. Press the down arrow until the cursor highlights the following message:

Install selected packages
 


Note: You will scroll through several screens.

8. Press ENTER.

The system displays the Software Install Confirmation.

9. Make sure that the cursor is on PROCEED.
10. Press ENTER.

The system installs the package then displays the following message:

Do you have more media from which to install more software?

11. Enter n

The system displays the following message:

Do you have hardware to install?

12. Enter n

The system automatically reboots.

Installing an Avaya Intuity System Announcement Set

 

Important! To install an Avaya Intuity system announcement set

1. Back-up the system.
2. Insert the Intuity AUDIX CD in the CD-ROM drive.
3. Start at the Avaya Intuity Main Menu and select:

Software Management
	Software Installation
		CD

The system displays the Software Install Screen, Page 1.
 


Note: If you did not complete the backup, the system displays the Backup Warning Screen.

4. Press the DOWN ARROW until the cursor highlights the appropriate language in the AUDIX Announcement Sets Group.

For example:

[ ] us-eng R5.0 -- US ENG System Announcements
 


Note: You may need to advance several screens.

5. Press ENTER.

The system displays the line in the following manner:

[ ] us-eng R5.0 -- US ENG System Announcements

6. If you are installing additional packages, mark the appropriate entries, by highlighting them and pressing the ENTER key, now before proceeding to the next step.
7. Press the down arrow until the cursor highlights the following message:

Install selected packages
 


Note: You will scroll through several screens.

8. Press ENTER.

The system displays the Software Install Confirmation.

9. Make sure that the cursor is on PROCEED.
10. Press ENTER.

The system installs the package then displays the following message:

Do you have more media from which to install more software?

11. Enter n

The system displays the following message:

Do you have hardware to install?

12. Enter n

The system automatically reboots.
